Mr. Nguyen Hoang Dung

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Dung started off his career as the Planning and Designing Engineer of Energy Centre, PECC 2 in 1989. He then served as a member of Project Management Department of Long Binh - Ba Ria 230KV transmission line from 1992 – 1993 and relocated to Bangkok, Thailand as a Research Associate of Energy Planning Central Consultant Team, Asian Institute of Technology. Upon his return to Vietnam in 1996, he served EVN as a Planning and Designing Specialist of Energy Centre and being promoted as the Head of Planning Department for the Planning and Designing Specialist of Energy Centre in 1998. He then moved to PECC3 as the Head of Project & Planning Department and currently is the Head of Renewable Energy Department of PECC3 since 2013. Mr. Nguyen Hoang Dung has wide experience as team leader and project manager of a lot of wind projects such as Master Plan of Wind Energy for Generating Electricity in Southern Provinces of Vietnam, An Phong Wind Farm, Nhon Hoi Wind Farm, Wind Resource Assessment at Selected Site in Vietnam, Thuan Nhien Phong Wind Farm, Phuoc The Wind Farm, Langbiang Wind Farm, Sai Gon – Binh Thuan Wind Farm. He is also having good experience in surveying, screening potential sites of wind energy and identifying the most promising ones for measurement, experience in installing and erecting more than 80 wind measurement masts and good in analyzing wind data.
