Mr. Manfred Otto

Manfred Otto is a New York lawyer who advises clients on international corporate and commercial matters, including cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, tax, securities, intellectual property and technology transactions as well as resolving related disputes.

The Legal 500 recommends Mr. Otto as one of the few Next Generation Lawyers for Corporate and M&A in 2018 and 2019 as well as a Recommended Lawyer for Projects and Energy in its 2019 Asia Pacific guide.

Mr. Otto advocates for sustainable and smart development through clean energy, water treatment and waste management as Vice Chair of the Green Growth Sector Committee (GGSC) of the European Chamber of Commerce. Based in Vietnam, he is head of Duane Morris's Japan Practice and a co-founder of the Blockchain Technology Practice. Mr. Mr. Otto has lived in Asia for more than 18 years and worked in New York, London and Tokyo. He is fluent in English, German and Japanese.
